By becoming an annual member of the Outback Trail, you are showing your support for the trail and injecting very important money into the operation. Since the Outback Trail is in a city park, many people assume it’s a taxpayer supported facility. In truth, while the city provides invaluable assistance by allowing us to use public land, the trail is almost entirely financed, created, and maintained by volunteer efforts organized by the Outback Trail Commission. We are an independent organization that pays for liability insurance, building supplies, tool purchase and maintenance, and administrative costs such as web-hosting. We raise money for our activities through sponsoring events, club membership, and donations.
Memberships come at different levels:
Basic $25
Supporter $50
Trail Blazer $100
Trail Pioneer $150
Memberships run from Jan to Dec of each year. When signing up, please make sure you fill out a liability waiver at the same time. It is necessary for your membership to be active. There are a couple ways to become a member for the year:
1) Buy membership in our online shop.
2) Download and mail the membership application (send check or pay with PayPal)
